Satellite training classes set for Wichita, KS

CropImage LLC will be offering classes for approved insurance providers on April 21 and 22 in Wichita, KS. The classes will take place at the Best Western Airport Red Coach Inn at 6815 W. Kellogg.

According to Neil Pullen of CropImage, “We have found over the past 5 years that we can assist in the event of damage and also in the long term damage sustained in water and drought areas as well as in-season and pre-harvest inspections. Working with the Crop Insurance Research Bureau (CIRB) has brought us up to a level that I think will benefit the entire industry.”

CIRB has sponsored satellite imagery demonstration activities in Iowa, Illinois and Kansas since 2004 on corn, soybeans and wheat.

Prospective attendees may register for the classes by emailing Mark Knoell at mark@harlannet.com. The signup deadline is April 10, 2008. CropImage LLC is headquartered in Sac City, IA.

To show its commitment in augmenting membership, the CIRB Executive Committee has approved a reduction of fifty-percent in first year dues for full membership to those companies and organizations who have not previously been a member of CIRB. read more...
